In a seated position, the human body places pressure on the spine and sides of the hips, especially after long periods of sitting. The uniquely designed OBUS Seat alleviates this unnecessary pressure, while properly aligning and supporting the buttocks.

When seated, the sitting bones (ischial tuberosities) support 75% of the body's weight. The OBUS Seat is designed to support this weight and prevent the bones from "sinking" into normally soft cushions. The coccyx is protected by a contoured buttocks frame. Incorporating a special cut-out seat depression, the frame is firm, flexible and extremely comfortable. OBUS Seat protects the thighs with additional molded padding to reduce fatigue, improve circulation, help prevent swollen ankles and feet, and maintain proper leg spread to minimize leg spasms.

This enables the manufacturer to establish on unlimited warranty for the lifetime of the original purchaser. If, during this time, any defect in the frame occurs - other than the fabric cover or foam padding - the product will be repaired or replaced (at our option) without charge, exclusive of transportation costs, if you have completed and returned the Warranty Registration.
